Coastal bathroom – Interior designer client

My wallpaper designs are often used by interior designers in residential projects, with patterns chosen to work alongside the wider scheme or adapted to suit a particular space. For this coastal bathroom designed by Jaime Parker, Oklahoma, this simple painted ticking stripe was chosen to sit quietly alongside the existing palette, bringing a subtle, fresh coastal feel to the space.

Botanical curtains & cushions – Private client

Working with a private client to design some bespoke curtains and cushions, I developed a botanical design featuring lilies and foliage, with colours carefully chosen to complement the existing room, including the central rug. We explored several colour combinations to create a warm, cosy feel, and tested the design across different fabrics before settling on a beautifully soft performance linen.

Hydrangea hallway – Private client

After purchasing a wallpaper sample, a client got in touch when she was ready to plan her upstairs hallway, sharing photographs, measurements and a diagram of the space. With five doors, a large window, and sections of wall both with and without a chair rail, we worked through the layout together to calculate the quantity required. Occasionally, clients ask me for a mock-up to help them visualise how a wallpaper design could look in their space, as with this hallway. Delighted with the result, the client returned two weeks later to order a sample of another design for her next project.

American coast – Small business client

Salty Paws Pet Boutique approached me to create a smaller-scale version of one of my existing designs for their dog bandanas. The project resulted in two of my designs being included in their beautiful American Coast collection: soft blue hydrangeas and an oat-brown bobbin stripe, perfectly modelled by this gorgeous labrador!

Whether it's a simple illustration, a pet portrait or landscape painting, I work with clients from the sketch phase through to final revisions, so you'll always have the chance to shape how it turns out. Artwork is professionally printed on high quality paper, and framing is optional.

Logo design & illustrations - Private client

Finding me through Illustrators for Hire, a writer asked me if I could help her with a logo design and some supporting illustrations. I loved bringing her vision to life with this adventurous squirrel character!

Hi, I'm Natalie, the artist behind Vine Art & Design. Based in Surrey, UK, I create watercolour artwork inspired by the natural world and the small details that often go unnoticed. I develop my artwork into wallpaper, fabric and home décor, with bespoke design services for interior designers and private clients. I also take on selected illustration and licensing projects.
